About Shachaya Group
Company Profile
Shachaya Group Pty Ltd is a Tasmania-based business development company with a strong history in operational restructuring, business repositioning, hospitality development, and strategic rebranding. The company focuses on transforming businesses into more efficient, profitable, and sustainable operations while creating long-term value for local communities.
Over more than 10 years, Shachaya Group has successfully transformed and repositioned several hospitality and accommodation businesses. Key achievements include the transformation of Ski Inn into the boutique hotel Panorama Jindabyne, and Tidal Waters into Panorama St Helens.
The company has also established and operated a range of dining businesses, including Thai Ban Chiang Restaurant, German Bistro, Panorama Burgers, and TAS Burgers. These ventures demonstrate the group’s ability to identify market opportunities, develop strong hospitality concepts, and create businesses that respond to customer demand.
Today, Shachaya Group continues to operate Anabel’s of Scottsdale and Alandale Farm in St Helens. These businesses reflect the company’s commitment to regional Tasmania, local produce, and practical business integration. By incorporating locally grown vegetables, farm-fresh eggs, and quality meats into its own hospitality operations, the group supports a paddock-to-plate approach while strengthening local supply chains.
Founder Values and Community Commitment
Shachaya Group is guided by the values and experience of its owners, Anton and Bibi, who believe that successful business should also create meaningful community benefit.
Throughout their business journey, Anton and Bibi have created employment opportunities, supported staff development, and shared their knowledge and experience with team members to help them build long-term careers. Their business philosophy is based not only on profitability, but also on responsibility, education, opportunity, and contribution to the wider community.
Anton holds a PhD in Business, while Bibi holds a Master’s Degree in Business. Together, they bring strong academic knowledge, practical business experience, and proven operational capability. Over the past four years, Anton has stepped back from daily operations and now provides strong strategic background support, allowing Bibi to lead and operate the current businesses with confidence and experience.
Anton and Bibi believe they now have an obligation to give back to the Australian community by applying their business knowledge, practical experience, and problem-solving capability to one of Australia’s most urgent challenges: affordable housing.
Instant Living – Affordable Homes for Australians
From this vision, the idea of Instant Living was developed.
Instant Living is focused on manufacturing practical, affordable instant homes for people who need safe, secure, and cost-effective housing. The company aims to provide housing options that are accessible to low-income earners, individuals, couples, families, workers, and people who may not be able to afford a traditional home in the current market.
Instant Living homes are designed to offer a realistic pathway to home ownership, even where the homeowner may need to lease land rather than purchase land outright. The company also offers homes on wheels, providing flexibility for people who need movable, affordable, and practical housing solutions.
Anton and Bibi believe that affordable housing is an urgent need in Australia. With their combined experience in business development, operations, restructuring, hospitality, farming, and property-based businesses, they believe Shachaya Group has the capability and responsibility to help deliver practical housing solutions for Australians.
Based in Tasmania, Shachaya Group Pty Ltd is committed to building businesses that are commercially sustainable, community-focused, and capable of making a positive difference. Through Instant Living, the company seeks to support more Australians in achieving the security, dignity, and independence of having a home of their own.
